Best Huawei Smartwatches for Women 2022

In 1987 when Huawei was found in Shenzhen, southern China, by Ren Zhengfei, a former army officer; nobody had the slightest clue that in the span of mere thirty years, it will become the second-largest smartphone seller, beating the likes of Apple, which is frankly a giant tycoon and much bigger fish in this cellular sea.

They have given so much variety and improvised in such a beautiful manner with their gadgets, that people do seem to get fond of them. They went for innovative features, instead of sticking to just one type of products, and that’s exactly why they have been successful in this regard.

Although china being the emerging superpower does back it up in being such a hit, but the company made sure, that it won’t disappoint its customers, and being a Huawei user myself, I can confirm this fact.

After making their name in the smartphone industry they tried to enter into the wearable games in 2015 when the company launched its first Android-wear-based smartwatch, and it was loved by the users as well.

Every smartwatch company nowadays is trying to come up with never-seen-before features, so that they could have the throne of being the best in the game, although Huawei came late to the party, the way this company is emerging, no wonder it might give a tough time to Apple and Samsung here as well.

In 5 years, Huawei has produced some smartwatches with great features, which can be worn by both men and women. But in this article, we will talk about the best Huawei smartwatches for Women, and see what kind of features they are equipped with.

So, without any further ado, let’s get started.

Design and display

It comes in a 1.4-inch full circle AMOLED display, which looks amazing. It can be disguised as a quartz watch, because of its analog display, but it changes with the course of features. It is available in different styles, but the one here is made up of sapphire crystal and stainless-steel body.

On the backside of the watch, a heart rate sensor is present, which makes sure that you have all the insights related to your heart rate on your wrist, all the time. Again, it doesn’t come with much built-in stuff, but having Android wear gives it a bit of edge since the user can download different apps regarding their workout, exercises, and music playing anytime they want.

It does with a lot of pre-installed watch faces, and the bands are interchangeable so that the ladies can customize it to make it look theirs.

After getting it fully charged which takes about an hour, it can last for almost a day, which is somewhat average, as it doesn’t have many features so they should have equipped it with a battery which can last for 2-3 days at least.

Hands down, it can be hailed as the best smartwatch for women, without a shadow of a doubt. This smart gadget is my personal favorite because of so many reasons. For a sporty person, this can be it, because this smartwatch has all features required to make a perfect sports watch.

Design and display

It comes in a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen, with good resolution. From the looks of it, it does give the vibes of sports watch, and looks amazing on the wrist. The watch itself isn’t thick but rather it has a slim appearance, which is surprising. Two buttons which act as power and functioning button are present on the right side of the display, along with the bezel which is mounted on the top of the display. The straps are comfy and make sure you can wear it all the time.

Salient features

Swimproof: It comes with a water-resistance of 50m, which makes sure you can wear it while swimming, showering, or light snorkeling. If you’re into swimming, it can act as a swimming smartwatch and can give you stats regarding stroke count, stroke recognition, SWOLF, swimming efficiency, and much more.

Battery life: It comes with multiple battery modes, which is truly amazing. It can last 2 weeks in normal usage, 30 days if you’re not going to use an HR monitor, and limit the usage of other features as well. However, it can go on for 22 hours continuously in GPS mode with an active heart rate tracker.

What’s missing?

Although it has some really good innovative features, it does lack some important things, such as NFC. You can’t make a mobile payment, which is considered important nowadays. There’s no room for third-party apps to be downloaded, which in my opinion is the biggest bummer of all.

Key features:

Color: Black | Display: 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen | Sleep monitoring: Yes | Heart rate tracking: Yes | Sport modes: Yes | All-day activity tracking: Yes | Smart notifications: Yes | Built-in GPS: Yes | Swimproof: Yes | Battery life: 2 weeks

Last but not least gadget is the latest smartwatch of Huawei, which comes with a ton of features. It is the successor of the GT watch and looks pretty amazing. Let’s see what it got.

Design and display

This watch comes in two different sizes: 42mm and 46mm, just like the Samsung Galaxy Watch, which is arguably one of the best smartwatches in the game right now. The watch I’m reviewing here is 46mm, Matte black mode, which is such a treat to watch.

The display comprises of 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, ensuring the clarity in it. Two physical buttons are there to perform different functions, while there’s a bezel mounted on the top of the display. This watch gives such a digital vibe from its display, that it becomes eye-catching and one tends to get lose track of time just by seeing the luminous watch hands and its beauty.

Huawei’s new chip

It is equipped with a newly made Huawei’s Kirin A1 Self-developed chip, which according to the company is more power-saving technology and it will eventually enhance its battery life. Although it’s a matter of time, which will tell you whether this technology is better than Snapdragon Wear 2100/3100, which is used by most smartwatch companies.

Salient features

Heart rate tracking: A heart rate monitoring sensor is there on the backside of the watch, which means that you can measure your heart rate easily.

Sleep monitoring: Get a deep look into your sleeping cycles, such as seeing light, deep and REM zones during the night to see the time awaken, and the amount of sleep you’ve had last night.

Stress tracking: Using the above two and other factors, it can also do stress tracking. In this way, one can take some time off from work to relax a bit, if she’s feeling a bit tensed at that moment. However, this feature only works with Android smartphones.

GPS: To track the outdoor activities is not a problem with this watch, because it comes with built-in GPS, through which one can have all the navigations of the shortest path, and the projection of your cycling, running session.

Multi-sport modes: It comes with 15 built-in sport modes, which include cycling, running, swimming, hiking, and many more. Enjoy your favorite workout or exercises and have a smart fitness trainer at your wrist, all the time.

Smart notifications: After pairing it up with your smartphone it will receive all the notifications of incoming calls, text messages, emails, and much more. If you’re too swamped to be using your phone, you can even receive incoming phone calls with it.

Water-resistant: Jump in the pool, or take a shower while having it on, because it comes with the water-resistance of 50, which makes it a Swimproof package. However, it is advised not to use it for scuba diving or snorkeling.

Battery life: The company claims that it can last for 2 weeks after a single charge, which takes up almost an hour or so in getting fully charged. But this solely depends on the type of usage, since the watch is equipped with high-end features like GPS, Heart rate, and stress tracking. It is only going to last for 30 hours in constant usage of these features, which in my opinion is good.

Key features:

Color: Matte black | Model: 46mm | Display: 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen | Heart rate monitoring: Yes | Sleep monitoring: Yes | Built-in GPS: Yes | Multi-sport modes: Yes | Smart notifications: Yes | Water-resistant: Yes | Battery life: 2 weeks

Pros
  • Eye-catching design
  • High-end tracking features
  • Swimproof
Cons
  • Can’t download third-party apps on it

Verdict

All the watches mentioned are unique in their style features, but I have to go with just one, I’d choose Huawei Watch 2 over everyone else.

This smartwatch is my personal favorite because it has everything you’d want in a smartwatch. As I said, you name the feature which comes in a smartwatch these days, and it will have it. You might lose track of time due to engaging features, which can be a considerable con for this, but the best smartwatch for women, nevertheless.

If you need a more affordable option, you can always go with the Huawei GT watch, which also has some good high-end features, and won’t burn a hole in your wallet.
