The Live Photos feature is enabled by default. There’s an icon in the Camera app that looks like three concentric circles, and this enables your phone to create live photo capsules from any recording you make with it! Tapping on these icons will enable or disable them; when enabled they’ll be yellow instead of white so as not to disrupt what else might have been shot during normal gameplay sessions (though switching back manually after leaving selects out). Here’s how to permanently keep Live Photo disabled:
- Open the Camera app on your device.
- Tap the yellow Live Photo icon so it is white and crossed out.
- Navigate to the Settings app.
- Tap the Camera tab.
- Tap Preserve Settings.
- Tap the Live Photo slider so it is ON/GREEN. This will save your last Camera app settings and stop Live Photo from being automatically enabled.
The new Live Photos feature will make your memories come alive in a way they never have before! You can now take those beautiful, high-quality pictures and videos on the iPhone 6s or later with iOS 9. Preserve Settings is available starting from the 10th version of Apple’s mobile operating system – which includes features such as editing tools for fast creative solutions when you need them most.
