The first waterproof iPhone was released in 2016, and now all Apple products are listed as H2OK or “water-resistant”. The mini takes this idea one step further with an IEC standard rating of IP68 under 60529 that means it can withstandsplash water up until 30 minutes before being damaged by dust exposure for periods less than 24 hours at a maximum depth underwater measuring just over 6 meters deep!
Please be careful not to charge a wet device, as this can cause liquid damage and will not covered under Apple’s warranty.
